The Story
Gagan Narang rose to global prominence as one of India’s most successful shooters, winning multiple medals across World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and an Olympic bronze medal. After establishing himself as an elite athlete, he transitioned into sports leadership and coaching to give back to Indian shooting. He founded the Gun for Glory Shooting Academy to provide structured, high-quality training for aspiring shooters across the country. Through this initiative, he has contributed to the development of numerous national and international-level athletes. He has also held leadership roles within Indian shooting administration, influencing policy, training standards, and athlete welfare. His legacy lies in strengthening India’s shooting culture through performance, mentorship, and institution-building.
