I work with young talents and elite players to develop competitive resilience and world-class chess skills. The transformation I help create is turning raw talent into internationally competitive chess professionals.
The Story
RB Ramesh earned the Grandmaster title and later transitioned from professional play to coaching with a clear vision of building a world-class chess training system in India. He founded Chess Gurukul in Chennai, which has become globally renowned for producing top-ranked juniors and world champions. Under his mentorship, students have won World Youth Championships, Olympiad medals, and elite international titles. He has served as a coach and mentor to several of India’s top chess players and has represented India as an official trainer at international events. His contributions to chess coaching have been widely recognised, establishing him as a cornerstone of India’s modern chess success. His legacy lies in building a sustainable, high-performance chess ecosystem.
