The Story

Yasmin Karachiwala began her fitness journey in the United States, where she trained under some of the world’s most respected Pilates educators and developed a deep understanding of movement science. On returning to India, she identified a major gap in the fitness industry—workouts focused on appearance rather than function—and introduced Pilates as a transformative alternative. Over the years, she became the go-to trainer for Bollywood’s biggest stars, athletes, and performers, playing a key role in redefining celebrity fitness standards. Yasmin is the founder of Body Image, one of India’s most premium fitness studios, and a pioneer in professional Pilates education across the country. She is also the author of Sculpt and Shape and has been featured extensively in national and international media. Her work has earned her industry recognition and global credibility, and her legacy lies in elevating fitness in India from trend-driven workouts to sustainable, intelligent movement.
